Our Story

Facing Mt. Kenya Schools Kirinyaga is a legacy of excellence, faith, and growth. It all began in 1989, when our visionary director, Mrs. Sarah Wangui Muriithi, founded Kirinyaga Township Primary School with a dream to provide quality education rooted in Christian values. Five years later, the boys’ and girls’ high schools were established, and they have flourished ever since.

Grounded in faith and discipline, we offer a holistic learning experience with weekly fellowships, a mentorship program, and vibrant co-curricular activities such as karate, music, and drama. Our students thrive in an environment equipped with a modern computer lab, a spacious playground, and a fleet of three school buses.

At Facing Mt. Kenya Schools, we are more than just a school—we are a family, shaping future leaders with knowledge, integrity, and purpose.

Strong Sports Culture

Our girls compete at the national level in volleyball and excel in handball and football, fostering teamwork, discipline, and a winning spirit.
